Added to ‘Influential Books’: Becoming Animal

Having only recently discovered this book, I have added it rather late to my ‘Influential & Formative Books’ listing. It has deeply impressed me, as the first wholly convincing alternative world view that I have read. Abrams argues, through an often difficult to take on board (because the emotional/thought viewpoint it is leading towards is so revolutionary and not immediately recognisable), but poetic narrative, for a more direct, subjective and immersive relationship with experience as we meet it, rather than the objective, rational and scientific view most people currently adopt.
